Founded in 2023, the company has raised $12.4M and serves hyperscale clients like Meta, Google, Oracle, and Microsoft. The team consists of 10 members who design and manufacture hardware in-house, enabling rapid iteration and problem-solving.About the roleYou will be responsible for owning mechanical subsystems from concept through working prototype on autonomous robotic systems. This role involves designing, building, and iterating on real hardware that transitions robots from demos to operational infrastructure.What You’ll DoDesign mechanical subsystems from initial sketches to prototypes, focusing on materials, tolerances, and manufacturing methods.Create parts and assemblies in CAD, supported by hand calculations and FEA, optimized for rapid prototyping methods such as 3D printing and CNC machining.Build prototypes using 3D printers, shop tools, and CNC equipment to quickly turn designs into physical hardware.Integrate mechanical designs with motors, sensors, electronics, and actuators on robotic arms and mobile bases.Collaborate closely with electrical, software, and robotics teams to bring complete autonomous systems together for production deployment.The Ideal Candidate2-5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering.Proficient in CAD (SolidWorks/Fusion 360/Onshape), FEA, 3D Printing, CNC Machining, and rapid prototyping.Experience with GD&T / Tolerancing, Topology Optimization, and Generative Design.Strong portfolio of complete systems taken from concept to physical prototype.Enjoys working hands-on at the intersection of CAD and the shop floor.Next steps1.
