قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدج🗂 We’re Hiring: Mechanical Design Engineer🕒 Employment Type: Full-Time💼 Level: Mid-Level to SeniorWe are seeking a technically skilled, innovative, and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to design, develop, test, and optimize mechanical components, systems, and products. This role will work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Development, Quality, Procurement, and Operations teams to deliver reliable, cost-effective, and manufacturable mechanical solutions.🎯 Key Responsibilities• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, equipment, and systems based on engineering requirements.• Create detailed 2D drawings, 3D CAD models, assemblies, and technical documentation.• Develop concepts, prototypes, and engineering solutions from initial design through production.• Perform mechanical calculations, tolerance analysis, material selection, and design validation.• Apply engineering principles to optimize product performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost.• Conduct design reviews, engineering analysis, and technical evaluations.• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Production teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable.• Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.• Develop and maintain engineering drawings, specifications, BOMs, and design documentation.• Support prototyping, testing, validation, and product qualification activities.• Investigate design issues, product failures, and manufacturing problems and implement corrective actions.• Conduct root-cause analysis and recommend design improvements.• Work with suppliers and external manufacturing partners on component specifications and technical requirements.• Support engineering changes, product modifications, and configuration management.• Ensure mechanical designs comply with applicable engineering standards, safety requirements, and quality specifications.• Evaluate materials, components, manufacturing processes, and supplier capabilities.• Support cost-reduction, product improvement, and continuous engineering improvement initiatives.• Maintain accurate CAD models, engineering records, revisions, and technical documentation.• Stay current with mechanical design technologies, materials, manufacturing methods, and industry best practices.✅ Requirements• Proven experience in mechanical design engineering, product development, equipment design, or a related engineering role.• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems.• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX, Autodesk Inventor, Creo, or similar platforms.• Strong experience with 3D modeling, assemblies, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.• Understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, design standards, and engineering specifications.• Experience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), prototyping, and production processes.• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills.• Experience with mechanical testing, validation, failure analysis, and product improvement is preferred.• Knowledge of materials selection, machining, sheet metal, injection molding, welding, or other manufacturing processes is an advantage.• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.• Ability to manage multiple engineering projects, design changes, and deadlines.• Strong attention to detail and commitment to engineering quality.• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field is preferred.• Professional engineering registration or relevant certifications are an advantage.🌟 What We Offer• Opportunity to design and develop innovative mechanical products, components, and systems.• Exposure to product development, advanced CAD, manufacturing, prototyping, testing, and engineering optimization.• Opportunity to work with multidisciplinary engineering, manufacturing, and product development teams.• Career progression into Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, Lead Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Engineering Manager, Design Engineering Manager, Product Development Manager, or Head of Mechanical Engineering roles.• A technically driven, collaborative, and innovation-focused work environment.• Access to advanced engineering tools, technical training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.• Competitive compensation, performance incentives, and comprehensive benefits package.
