Its operations include developing, modernizing, and armoring various types of military vehicles. The facility also manufactures a range of security and military equipment, offering engineering professionals the opportunity to work on complex, mission-critical products. Team members collaborate in a technically advanced environment focused on quality, reliability, and innovation.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Design Engineer role located in Dammam. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and components for armored vehicles and related security equipment, from concept through detailed design. Day-to-day tasks include creating and reviewing CAD models and drawings, performing engineering calculations, collaborating with cross-functional teams on product requirements, and supporting prototype builds and testing activities. The role involves optimizing designs for performance, manufacturability, durability, and safety, as well as reviewing feedback from production and field use to implement design improvements. The engineer will also prepare technical documentation, adhere to relevant standards and regulations, and participate in design reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Mechanical Engineering and Design Engineering, with a solid understanding of engineering principles and materials.Candidates should possess skills in Machine Design and Product Design, including experience developing mechanical components and assemblies for heavy or armored equipment.Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools, such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar software, for 3D modeling and detailed drafting.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline; advanced degrees or specialized certifications are an advantage.Experience in automotive, defense, heavy equipment, or related industries, especially in structural design, vibration, and durability, is highly beneficial.Ability to interpret engineering drawings and standards, perform basic stress and tolerance analyses, and apply relevant international and military specifications.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams on-site.Effective verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
