The firm’s multidisciplinary approach offers opportunities for engineers to work on varied projects and collaborate with professionals across different specialties.Role Description The Mechanical Design Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Abu Dhabi. This role involves developing mechanical designs for residential and commercial building projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and other building services systems. The Mechanical Design Engineer will prepare and review concept to detailed engineering drawings and models using Revit & CAD tools, perform calculations and analyses to ensure system performance and compliance with relevant standards, and coordinate with architectural, structural, and other engineering disciplines. Day-to-day tasks also include participating in design reviews, supporting project documentation, assisting in specification development, and collaborating with clients and internal teams to address technical issues and optimize design solutions.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong skills in Mechanical Engineering and Design Engineering, with experience applying core engineering principles to building services and systems.Candidates should possess skills in Mechanical Design for the development and optimization of mechanical components and equipment used within building projects.Candidates should possess proficiency in Revit and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating, modifying, and reviewing detailed mechanical drawings and 3D models.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Experience in building services design (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, fire protection) is highly beneficial.Knowledge of relevant international and local building codes and standards.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.Prior experience in consulting or design firms and familiarity with project-based work environments is an advantage.
