قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجJOB PURPOSE:Responsible for overseeing and coordinating all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in construction projects, ensuring that all MEP components are designed, installed, tested, and maintained according to project requirements, industry standards, and local regulations.Key AccountabilitiesStrategic Responsibilities:Align MEP engineering strategies with overall project goals, budget constraints, and construction timelines.Contribute to project planning, risk assessment, and feasibility studies, particularly in evaluating MEP scope and systems integration.Participate in value engineering and cost optimization initiatives to improve system efficiency and reduce lifecycle costs.Support the development of project execution plans, procurement strategies, and phasing schedules for MEP works.Establish MEP design and installation standards in line with company goals, regulatory requirements, and industry’s best practices.Collaborate with senior stakeholders, clients, and consultants to align MEP strategies with long-term operational and sustainability goals.Lead or contribute to innovative initiatives, including implementation of emerging technologies such as smart building systems or energy-efficient solutions.Provide technical insight during contract negotiation and bid evaluation phases.Functional Responsibilities:Review and interpret MEP design drawings, specifications, and BOQs to ensure completeness and constructability.Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems on-site.Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, structural engineers, and other disciplines for seamless design integration.Monitor and ensure MEP works are progressing in line with project schedules and quality standards.Conduct technical reviews of shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals for compliance.Identify and resolve technical issues, conflicts, and design discrepancies in coordination with consultants and contractors.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design, safety standards, and regulatory codes.Review contractor performance and manage on-site coordination meetings with subcontractors and consultants.Track project progress and prepare technical reports, updates, and documentation.Facilitate procurement of MEP materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and quality assurance.Manage and track MEP-related variations, change orders, and cost impacts.Ensure compliance with health, and safety standards across all MEP activities.Coordinate third-party testing and inspections, ensuring certifications and approvals are obtained on time.Provide technical support during post-construction phases including defect rectification and system troubleshooting.FUNCTIONAL SKILLSTechnical Problem-SolvingPlanning and Organizing SkillsQuality and Compliance AwarenessCoordination and CommunicationEXPERIENCE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT-Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or related Engineering field.-5+ years of relevant experience in MEP design and construction, preferably within the construction industry.-Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
