Mechanical / Electromechanical Maintenance Engineer — Nile Vessels (In-Service Fleet)

Location: LuxorExperience: Minimum 5 yearsReports to: Projects ManagerAbout the Company:Egyptian Sailing Ships Company is a Nile cruise company specialised in building and operating Nile vessels, dahabiyas, and tugboats.Role Overview:Working with vessels already in active service: carrying out periodic maintenance, improving the efficiency of the various systems, and intervening quickly to resolve breakdowns.Responsibilities:Carry out periodic maintenance and improve the efficiency of vessel systems.Intervene to resolve issues across the various lines: steering hydraulics, drainage, supply, and cooling.Supervise overhauls and repairs of equipment: propulsion machinery, generators and pumps.Perform routine periodic inspections of the vessels and document the results.Supervise the technicians' team and follow up on their work.Submit periodic reports to the Projects Manager.Requirements:Minimum 5 years' experience in the maintenance of Nile vessels.Strong mechanical or electromechanical background.Able to diagnose and handle faults in the field.Available for emergency intervention when required, as the vessels are in active service.What We Offer:Salary based on experience.Accommodation provided.Allowances and transportation covered when travelling.Note: Selection is based primarily on practical experience; no specific academic degree is required.
