Its broad customer base reflects a strong track record of reliability, technical expertise, and commitment to service.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role based in Abu Dhabi. The Mechanical Engineer will design, maintain, and improve mechanical systems and equipment used in concrete production facilities, ensuring safe and efficient operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing machine designs, preparing and reviewing CAD drawings, coordinating with production and maintenance teams, and troubleshooting mechanical issues. The role involves participating in research and development initiatives to enhance equipment performance, supporting project planning and implementation, and ensuring compliance with relevant safety and quality standards. The Mechanical Engineer will also collaborate with suppliers and contractors, prepare technical documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts across the plant.Qualifications Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with the ability to apply core mechanical principles to industrial equipment and processes.Proficiency in Machine Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for creating, reviewing, and optimizing mechanical components and systems.Experience in Project Management, including planning, coordinating, and monitoring engineering projects in an industrial or manufacturing environment.Capability in Research and Development (R&D) to evaluate new technologies, improve existing machinery, and support innovation in production processes.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.Knowledge of industrial safety standards, preventive maintenance practices, and reliability engineering principles.Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, and maintenance teams.Experience working in heavy industry, construction materials, or similar manufacturing environments is an advantage.Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi and adapt to a fast-paced, production-focused setting.
