The Mechanical Engineer will design, analyze, and optimize mechanical systems and components for building and infrastructure projects, ensuring performance, safety, and compliance with relevant codes and standards. Daily responsibilities include developing CAD models and technical drawings, contributing to machine and system designs, and collaborating with civil, electrical, and architectural teams to integrate mechanical solutions into overall project plans. The role involves supporting project planning and execution, preparing technical documentation, participating in site visits, and resolving mechanical issues during construction and commissioning. The Mechanical Engineer will also contribute to research and development activities to improve design methods, introduce innovative solutions, and support continuous improvement in UNINNCO’s mechanical engineering practices.QualificationsStrong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to building and infrastructure projects.Proficiency in Machine Design, including the selection and sizing of mechanical components and systems.Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating models, drawings, and technical documentation.Skills in Project Management to support planning, scheduling, coordination, and monitoring of mechanical engineering activities.Capability in Research and Development (R&D) to evaluate new technologies, materials, and design approaches for mechanical systems.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline; advanced qualifications or professional certifications are an asset.Familiarity with relevant mechanical and building codes, standards, and safety regulations.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.Previous experience in construction or building services engineering, particularly in large-scale or turnkey projects, is preferred.
