Mechanical Engineer

Position Overview: ** Hiring For a Client**The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems within the Material Handling Systems (MHS). This role involves preventive maintenance planning, problem-solving, and performance optimization to maintain high system reliability. Key Responsibilities:§ Oversee and implement mechanical maintenance programs to ensure smooth operations.§ Conduct inspections, fault diagnosis, and repairs of mechanical components.§ Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for increased efficiency.§ Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.§ Support and train technicians in maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniques.§ Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.§ Coordinate with other engineers and departments for integrated system performance. Requirements:§ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.§ Minimum 3-6 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in automated systems or material handling & air cargo handling systems.§ Experience in baggage handling systems, port automation, warehouse automation, or logistics operations.§ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.§ Familiarity diagnostic tools and maintenance of Material Handling Systems (conveyors, cranes, hoists, etc.) and/or Air Cargo Handling Systems.§ Ability to work independently and in a team environment.§ Excellent English communication and team coordination abilities. Preferred Qualification:Experience in both mechanical and electrical disciplines is an added value, enabling the candidate to address a variety of faults and issues efficiently.
