Services are provided with a focus on trust, ethical business practices, and long-term partnerships with customers.Position OverviewThe Mechanical Engineer ensures the continuous reliability, safety, and optimal performance of all critical mechanical assets, rotating equipment, and plant facilities. This role combines advanced technical engineering leadership with hands-on facility maintenance supervision. The ideal candidate will guide a multidisciplinary team, execute rigorous preventative maintenance schedules, and manage workshops, fabrication, and civil works within an oil and gas environment.Key Responsibilities & WorkscopeTechnical Leadership & Asset ReliabilityGuiding Teams: Lead, control, and mentor a multidisciplinary maintenance team, providing clear technical direction and assigning daily tasks.Mechanical Reliability: Guarantee maximum uptime and reliability of critical mechanical processes and assets.Rotating Equipment Expertise: Troubleshoot, inspect, and oversee the overhaul of vital rotating machinery (pumps, compressors, turbines, and gearboxes).Facility Maintenance & Specialized TradesWorkshop Management: Oversee daily workshop operations, including machining, repair workflows, and tooling management.Fabrication & Structural: Supervise structural fabrication, welding, and modification works according to engineering standards.Civil & Utilities: Manage plant utility maintenance including advanced plumbing networks, industrial painting, masonry, and general civil repairs.Safety, Compliance & AdministrationSafety Protocols: Enforce strict Oil & Gas safety standards (HSE), ensuring the team utilizes correct Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and Work Permits.Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance logs, equipment history, and spare parts inventory.Candidate Profile & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience strictly within Oil and Gas maintenance operations.Leadership: Proven track record of supervising and technically guiding maintenance crews.Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of rotating equipment, paired with practical oversight experience in fabrication, plumbing, masonry, and painting trades.
