Mechanical Engineer

NES Fircroft are recruiting a Mechanical Engineer to join a leading UK energy operator supporting critical offshore gas assets in the Southern North Sea.This role offers the opportunity to work on complex mechanical systems, drive reliability improvements, support major shutdowns, and provide engineering expertise across both onshore and offshore operations.If you enjoy solving technical problems, improving equipment performance, and working on a variety of rotating and static equipment, I'd love to hear from you.You'll be responsible for supporting the reliability, maintenance, and performance of mechanical equipment including pumps, compressors, valves, piping, pressure vessels, and generators.We're looking for:Degree, HNC or HND in Mechanical EngineeringExperience within Oil & Gas or another highly regulated industryStrong knowledge of rotating and static equipmentExperience with maintenance, reliability, and engineering supportFamiliarity with CMMS systems such as Maximo is advantageousMust currently reside within the UK to be considered for this opportunityLocation: NorwichContract: Initial 12-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension and PAYE Day RateIf you're looking to work on technically challenging projects within a highly respected UK energy business and want to make a real impact on the reliability of critical offshore assets, apply today!
