Apply & track with Apply EdgeJob Responsibilities: -Preparation of various process calculations including hydraulics, process simulations, piping sizing, control valve and equipment sizing, pressure head calculations, and performance flow curves.Execute the implementation of the maintenance schedule in accordance with plan and technical specifications.Cost-benefit analysis for competing process solutions resulting in robust, cost-effective designs.Troubleshooting existing systems in the field and determining modifications to existing systems to change performance, etc.Prepare technical Mechanical/Hydraulic specifications.Prepare Mechanical/Hydraulic data sheets and equipment descriptions/sizing.Review Hydraulic plans and specifications for new installations and renovations for completeness.Inspect work in process and upon completion to ensure efficiency, economy, and safety of operations.Ensure that the needs of staff as well as production goals are satisfied. Perform repair work on complex components.Work according to the defined policies and procedures of Plant & Technical Marine Division.Ensure maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all hydraulic equipment.Accurately report to the Base Technical Superintendent & Sr. Technical Manager on work done/day-to-day performance, issues, and preventive maintenance requirements.Provide a high degree of technical skill, knowledge, and expertise for all workshop repairs/aspects of the Technical Department.Provide leadership and guidance towards all team members for collective goals.Ensure that HSE requirements are observed in the execution of all mechanical activities. Provide guidelines to junior staff on QA/QC and HSE reports/recommendations.This is a generalist view of a job that you have been assigned for – at times you will be asked to do above/beyond the scope of this role due to operational requirements.Work in compliance with HSE regulations.Use any equipment, protective devices, or clothing required by the employer.Tell the employer or supervisor about any known missing or defective equipment or protective device that may be dangerous.Report any known workplace hazard or violation of the Act to the employer or supervisor.Do not remove or make ineffective any protective device required by the employer or by the regulations.Educational Qualifications & CertificationsBachelor’s Degree in Engineering in a related discipline, or equivalent.Relevant ExperienceMinimum 06-08 years of related work experience in similar industries.
