Job Description: Mechanical EngineerWe’re Hiring!We are seeking an experienced Mechanical to join our team for Saudi Aramco–approved and others Potential clients’ projects, ensuring high-quality construction, safety, and compliance with engineering standards.Role PurposeResponsible for supporting the engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and execution of mechanical works for industrial and EPC projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, applicable standards, schedule, quality, and HSE requirements.Key Responsibilities• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, datasheets, BOQs/MTOs, and scope of work.• Review technical submittals, material specifications, method statements, and vendor documentation.• Coordinate mechanical activities with engineering, procurement, construction, QA/QC, HSE, and project controls.• Support preparation and verification of material take-offs.• Participate in technical bid evaluations for vendors and subcontractors.• Monitor site mechanical works and resolve technical issues.• Prepare/respond to RFIs and technical queries.• Monitor interfaces between mechanical works and other disciplines.• Participate in inspections, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and project close-out.• Maintain appropriate engineering and project records.Qualifications & Experience• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience preferred.• Experience in industrial, Oil & Gas, infrastructure, construction, or EPC projects.• Saudi Arabia project experience preferred.• Saudi Aramco, SABIC, SEC, or major industrial client experience is an advantage.Technical Competencies• Mechanical drawings and specifications.• Piping/mechanical equipment and industrial systems.• BOQ/MTO preparation and review.• Technical bid and vendor-document review.• AutoCAD and MS Office.• Knowledge of relevant international engineering codes and standards.GENERAL RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTSCandidates should demonstrate:• Relevant academic/technical qualifications for the position.• Relevant industrial, construction, infrastructure, Oil & Gas, or EPC experience.• Good written and verbal communication skills.• Ability to work within multidisciplinary project teams.• Strong commitment to safety, quality, cost, and schedule.• Professional accountability and ability to work in a developing project organization.• Previous Saudi Arabia experience is preferred.• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco, SABIC, SEC, or other major Saudi industrial clients is an advantage where relevant to the position.• English communication capability appropriate to the position.HEMAMCO reserves the right to assess candidates against project-specific client requirements, professional certifications, technical competencies, and relevant experience before final selection.
