The Mechanical Engineer will design, analyze, and optimize mechanical systems and components for electromechanical projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety regulations. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing CAD models and technical drawings, supporting machine and system design, coordinating with cross-functional project teams, and assisting in project scheduling and resource planning. The role also involves participating in research and development activities, evaluating new technologies and materials, and providing technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases. The Mechanical Engineer will prepare reports, maintain documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement of design and engineering processes.Qualifications Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with experience in machine design and mechanical systems analysis.Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating and reviewing detailed mechanical drawings and models.Capability in Project Management, including planning, coordinating tasks, and tracking progress for engineering projects.Experience in Research and Development (R&D), including evaluating new technologies, materials, and design approaches.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field; advanced degree is an advantage.Knowledge of electromechanical systems, industry standards, and safety regulations.Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.Ability to interpret technical documents, perform calculations, and solve engineering problems independently.Previous experience in contracting, construction, or industrial projects is preferred.Willingness to work in a hybrid setup in Jiddah and occasionally visit project sites as required.
