Mechanical Engineer (Facilities Maintenance)

Job SummaryJoin Stellantis Malaysia as a Mechanical Engineer (Facilities Maintenance) and help ensure the reliability, efficiency and safe operation of our manufacturing facilities. You will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, utilities management and continuous improvement initiatives supporting uninterrupted production.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance.Maintain HVAC, compressed air, pumps, piping and utility systems.Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform root cause analysis.Coordinate contractors and maintenance service providers.Support facility upgrades and installation projects.Prepare maintenance schedules and technical reports.Monitor spare parts inventory.Ensure compliance with DOSH, BOMBA, DOE and company standards.Support emergency breakdown response.Drive Kaizen and maintenance improvement initiatives.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.5 - 8 years' experience in facilities or plant maintenance.Experience maintaining HVAC, utilities and mechanical systems.Manufacturing experience is preferred.When you join us, you’re not just building a career — you’re joining a company that supports you, inside and outside of work.At Stellantis, we assess candidates based on qualifications, merit, and business needs.
