Ltd. is looking for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer - Plant Maintenance for its manufacturing facility at Chopanki/Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. The position will report directly to the Factory DGM and will be responsible for the mechanical reliability and maintenance of a large and diverse manufacturing facility.Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of process and holding tanks, agitators and mixing systems
- Pumps, mechanical seals, bearings, couplings and alignment
- Process piping, valves and associated equipment
- Filling and packaging machinery, conveyors, cappers and material-handling equipment
- Pneumatic systems, gearboxes, chains, sprockets and mechanical drives
- Chillers, compressors, cooling systems and other mechanical utilities
- Preventive and breakdown maintenance
- Root-cause analysis of repetitive failures and implementation of permanent corrective actions
- Planning shutdown and preventive-maintenance activities
- Supervision and development of mechanical fitters, pipe fitters and welders/fabricators
- Coordination with OEMs and external contractors for specialised maintenance
- Maintaining critical-spares requirements and equipment maintenance recordsCandidate Profile
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Preferably 8-12 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant
- Strong practical knowledge of pumps, piping, rotating equipment, filling/packaging machinery and utilities
- Experience in liquid-processing, chemical, lubricant, FMCG, automotive-component or similar manufacturing industries would be particularly relevant
- Must be comfortable personally diagnosing problems on the shop floor rather than functioning only as a maintenance administrator
- Strong emphasis on preventive maintenance and eliminating repeat breakdowns Candidates currently working in Bhiwadi, Neemrana, Dharuhera, Manesar, Gurugram and nearby industrial areas are encouraged to apply.
