Mechanical Engineering Manager - MedTech companyA leading MedTech company is looking for a Mechanical Engineering Manager to take ownership of its mechanical engineering activities and lead the mechanical aspects of complex, multidisciplinary R&D projects.This is a technical leadership role combining deep mechanical expertise, system-level thinking and hands-on execution.Key responsibilities: 🔹 Lead the mechanical engineering domain and provide technical direction across the product lifecycle 🔹 Develop and design complex electro-mechanical systems, from concept and CAD through prototyping, integration and production 🔹 Work closely with HW, SW, Algorithms, Systems and QA to drive successful system integration 🔹 Lead a multidisciplinary R&D squad, setting priorities, managing dependencies and driving execution toward milestones 🔹 Use SolidWorks hands-on for mechanical design and development 🔹 Lead V&V, reliability testing, test-jig development, RCA and engineering changes 🔹 Troubleshoot complex mechanical and system-level challenges and drive solutionsWhat we’re looking for:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
• Significant hands-on Mechanical R&D experience
• Strong electro-mechanical & system-level expertise
• Technical/team leadership experience
• Strong SolidWorks skills
• Experience with machining, sheet metal & 3D printing
• Experience with V&V, reliability, RCA and ECOs

Feel free to reach out.Candidates should possess strong Mechanical Engineering expertise, including experience in MedTech or related regulated industries.Candidates should possess Engineering Management and Team Leadership skills to guide multidisciplinary engineering teams.Candidates should possess Project Management abilities, including planning, scheduling, and resource coordination across multiple initiatives.Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for reviewing and guiding detailed mechanical designs.Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field, and experience working with medical devices or healthcare technologies.Additional beneficial experience includes familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA), strong problem-solving skills, clear communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
