From high-G scientific research and submarine technology to high-performance centrifuges used across global industrial markets, we’ve always worked on engineering challenges that demand something different.From our facility in Fort Worth, TX, we presently have a permanent, customer-facing Field Service Engineering opportunity to support our customers across North America.What you’ll be doingRunning planned maintenance, inspections and preventative servicing at customer facilitiesDiagnosing breakdowns and solving mechanical problems in the fieldSupporting the installation and commissioning of centrifuges and associated equipmentPrecision fitting of components including bearings, seals and bushes to tight tolerancesCarrying out workshop repairs and refurbishment in Fort WorthWriting clear, useful reports that customers and colleagues can act onBuilding genuine relationships with customers and service partnersWhat we’re looking forA career orientated field service engineer / field service technician who has demonstrable experience of working with rotating equipment, industrial machinery, pumps and gearboxes, heavy engineering, field service, process equipment, or industries such as mining, oil & gas or power. If you’ve worked with large rotating assemblies before, even better.You’ll need to be:Based around our Fort Worth facility and ready to travel extensively across the US, with occasional international travelCustomer-oriented and self-sufficient, comfortable working independently and using your own judgementA genuine problem-solver, not just a parts-changerConfident dealing directly with customers and committed to providing an excellent serviceWhy this role?Real variety in a growing organisation, with complex engineering to work with and specialist knowledge you’ll keep building along the way.
