Employment Type: Full-TimeJob OverviewNEXA Engineering Consulting is seeking an experienced Mechanical Inspector to join our growing team in Dubai.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in mechanical site inspections within engineering consultancy or construction supervision projects, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct site inspections for mechanical works, including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.Ensure all mechanical installations comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, and applicable standards.Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents.Review and inspect Work Inspection Requests (WIRs) and Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by contractors.Monitor contractors' work and ensure compliance with project quality requirements.Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to resolve technical issues.Identify and report non-compliant works and follow up on corrective actions.Ensure compliance with relevant UAE authority requirements and applicable regulations.Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical inspection, preferably within engineering consultancy or construction supervision.UAE experience is preferred.Experience in residential high-rise building projects would be beneficial.Familiarity with relevant UAE authority requirements, such as DCD, DEWA, Dubai Municipality, and district cooling providers.Good knowledge of mechanical systems, construction standards, and site inspection procedures.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.Interested candidates are welcome to apply directly through LinkedIn.
