Mechanical Lead

Position Title: Mechanical Lead (Data Centers) Location: Singapore / Malaysia

Employment Type: Full-TimeKey ResponsibilitiesLead the mechanical design and delivery of large-scale data centre projects.Serve as the technical authority for cooling infrastructure, including liquid cooling systems for high-performance computing and AI workloads.Develop and review mechanical system designs, specifications, calculations, and engineering standards.Coordinate with electrical, structural, architectural, and operations teams to ensure integrated project delivery.Drive innovation in cooling technologies, thermal management, and energy-efficient infrastructure solutions.Support project planning, equipment selection, vendor evaluation, and technical procurement activities.Provide engineering oversight during construction, testing, commissioning, and operational handover.Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project performance and reliability.Monitor industry trends, emerging cooling technologies, and evolving data centre best practices.Mentor and develop engineering team members while fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.Key RequirementsDegree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.Extensive experience designing and delivering mission-critical facilities, preferably within data centres or similar infrastructure environments.Strong knowledge of cooling systems including chilled water, heat rejection, HVAC, CRAH/CRAC systems, and liquid cooling technologies.Experience supporting high-density computing environments and advanced thermal management solutions.Understanding of data centre design standards, commissioning processes, and operational requirements.Proven ability to lead engineering teams and manage multiple stakeholders across complex projects.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.If you are interested, kindly apply with your latest CV detailing your data center construction project experience.
