The company focuses on smart manufacturing, industrial automation, and intelligent scrap and coolant management to drive shop floor innovation across India and beyond.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role based at Miven Mayfran’s facilities in the Hubli-Dharwad region. The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for daily inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment and conveyor systems to ensure safe and reliable operation. The role involves planning and executing preventive and predictive maintenance activities, monitoring equipment performance, and coordinating with production teams to minimize downtime. The engineer will maintain maintenance records, support root cause analysis for recurring issues, and recommend improvements in equipment reliability and maintenance practices. The position also includes collaborating with vendors and internal stakeholders for spare parts management, adhering to safety and quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Mechanical Maintenance.Candidates should possess solid Maintenance Engineering and Preventive Maintenance skills.Candidates should possess hands-on Maintenance & Repair skills for mechanical equipments like overhead cranes, CNC/VMC machines, press brake machines, robo welding machines, powder coating, shot blasting units, gear motor and other mechanical equipments..Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.Experience: 2 to 5 yearsExperience in industrial or manufacturing environments, preferably in conveyors, material handling, or metalworking systems.Knowledge of safety standards, reliability practices, and basic hydraulics/pneumatics will be beneficial.Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, use maintenance tools and instruments, and maintain accurate documentation.Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and willingness to work in a shop floor environment.
