Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Location: SheffieldJob Type: Full-Time, PermanentSalary: £37,500-£38,500 DOEIndustry: MetalsThe RoleAs a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing, fault finding and repair of a wide range of industrial plant and equipment across our UK operations.You will work as part of a proactive maintenance team, ensuring equipment reliability, minimising downtime and maintaining a safe working environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on industrial plant and equipment.Diagnose and repair mechanical faults efficiently.Install, service and overhaul mechanical equipment.Assist with equipment improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.Maintain accurate maintenance records.Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.Travel to other UK sites when required.Requirements Significant experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial environment.Strong welding and fabrication skills.Experience working with hydraulic systems.Experience maintaining heavy industrial equipmentGood fault-finding and problem-solving skills.Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication skills.Full UK driving licence.Package Details Hours: Monday to FridayWeek 1: 07:30 – 16:30 (42.5 hours)Week 2: 07:00 – 16:00 (42.5 hours)Company pension scheme.Life insurance.Opportunity to work within a well-established global business.Ongoing training and development.To Contact Direct:Daniel BarnettManaging Consultant0151 209 2050daniel.barnett@aspion.co.ukAt Aspion, our core values have been built around the importance of transparency, innovation, passion, and collaboration.
