About the RoleThe Maintenance Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of SCG’s manufacturing facilities. With a focus on mechanical systems and equipment, this position involves preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement projects that keep production lines running at optimal performance.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for mechanical equipment and machinery.Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.Collaborate with production teams to plan maintenance windows without disrupting operations.Review equipment performance data and recommend upgrades or improvements.Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components.Support installation and commissioning of new machinery.Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety and environmental standards.Prepare reports on maintenance performance, downtime analysis, and cost efficiency.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.2–4 years of experience in plant maintenance or mechanical engineering roles; fresh graduates with strong internships may be considered.Solid understanding of mechanical systems, rotating equipment, and maintenance methodologies.Problem-solving skills with the ability to work under time-sensitive conditions.Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CMMS is an advantage.Clear communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English.Career DevelopmentThis role provides a strong foundation for advancement into senior engineering, reliability, or plant management positions within SCG.
