As a QC Technician/Inspector, you will help ensure all construction activities comply with contract documents, engineering specifications, client requirements, and applicable industry codes while promoting a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement.This position works closely with Construction Management, Project Engineers, Superintendents, Client Representatives, and Craft Professionals to ensure work is completed correctly the first time.

What You’ll Do

Construction Quality OversightPerform daily inspections of construction activities and verify work comply with project drawings and specifications.Monitor installation of structural steel, piping, welding, electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, concrete, and civil work.Ensure compliance with Quality Inspection Test Plans (QITPs) and verify material traceability and documentation.Inspection & TestingPerform in-process/final inspections, equipment walkdowns and support system turnover activities.Verify installation tolerances, bolting, torque requirements, and structural connections.Review weld fit-up and completed welds, and coordinate NDE activities.Inspect underground utilities, concrete placement, and reinforcing steel.DocumentationComplete daily inspection reports, maintain inspection logs, and prepare punch lists.Track NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).Verify corrective actions, maintain turnover documentation, and support quality turnover packages.Client CoordinationParticipate in owner inspections and project quality meetings.Coordinate hold points and support third-party inspectorsInterface with engineering and project controls.What You’ll BringHigh School Diploma or GED3-7+ years of industrial construction QA/QC experienceExperience with EPC projectsStrong understanding of construction drawingsAbility to read: P&IDs, Isometric Drawings, IFC Drawings, Structural Drawings, Electrical One-Line DiagramsPreferred CertificationsAWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) (preferred or required depending on project)API 570API 510API 653ASNT Level IIICC CertificationsNACE Coating InspectorOSHA 30First Aid/CPRPreferred Industry ExperienceIndustrial ConstructionOil & GasLNGPetrochemicalData CentersRenewable EnergyMidstream FacilitiesCompressor StationsPipelinesPower GenerationWorking Knowledge of:ASME Section IXB31.3 Process PipingAPI StandardsAWS D1.1NECNETAIEEEACI
