Mechanical Supervisor

To supervise and coordinate mechanical construction, installation, fabrication, maintenance, and commissioning activities, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and schedule requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate daily mechanical activities at project sites and workshopsLead and manage mechanical foremen, technicians, fitters, welders, fabricators, riggers, and subcontractorsReview project drawings, specifications, method statements, and work schedules prior to executionPlan manpower, equipment, materials, and resources to achieve project targetsMonitor work progress and ensure activities are completed according to approved schedulesCoordinate with project engineers, clients, consultants, and other disciplines to ensure smooth project executionEnsure all mechanical installations and fabrication works comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirementsIdentify and resolve technical, operational, and resource-related issuesMonitor productivity and implement corrective actions where necessaryVerify material availability and coordinate with procurement and stores departmentsParticipate in testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems and equipmentPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reportsMaintain project documentation, site records, and attendance reportsEnsure high standards of workmanship, quality control, and housekeepingQualifications & ExperienceDiploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related disciplineMinimum 7 years of experience in mechanical construction, industrial maintenance, fabrication, or contracting projectsAt least 3 years of experience in a supervisory roleExperience in industrial plants, commercial construction, infrastructure, oil & gas, or heavy engineering projectsGCC experience is preferred
