Join us to "live the planet better!"WORK PURPOSETo supervise and coordinate mechanical installation and erection activities for compressors and rotating equipment on the SASREF project in Jubail, ensuring that all activities are executed safely, correctly, efficiently, and in accordance with approved procedures, technical specifications, project requirements, and client standards.The role requires strong hands-on experience in rotating equipment, compressors, precision alignment and leveling, torquing and bolting, as well as the ability to effectively supervise and guide a mechanical crew.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESSupervise mechanical installation and erection activities for compressors and rotating equipment.Lead and coordinate mechanical technicians during site activities.Supervise precision alignment and leveling of rotating equipment using appropriate tools and equipment.Supervise torquing, bolting, and mechanical assembly activities in accordance with approved procedures.Review work requirements, drawings, and applicable technical specifications before execution.Ensure mechanical installation activities are completed safely, correctly, and within the required schedule.Coordinate with Project, Construction, QA/QC, and HSE teams as required.Monitor the quality of mechanical installation activities and identify and rectify technical issues.Provide technical guidance and direction to mechanical technicians.Support inspection, testing, punch-list clearance, and completion activities as required.Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working practices within the assigned work area.Ensure compliance with SASREF site procedures, project requirements, and applicable safety standards.Report work progress, technical issues, and site requirements to the relevant project supervision.REQUIRED COMPETENCESStrong hands-on knowledge of compressors and rotating machinery.Proven experience in mechanical installation and erection of compressors and rotating equipment.Strong knowledge and practical experience in precision alignment and leveling of rotating equipment.Good knowledge of torquing, bolting, and mechanical assembly practices.Ability to supervise and coordinate mechanical crews effectively.Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, work requirements, and technical specifications.Good understanding of mechanical construction and installation activities in industrial environments.Strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance with site procedures.Ability to work effectively with Project, Construction, QA/QC, and HSE teams.Ability to work Day/Night shifts as required.Ability to work effectively under short-term and time-critical project conditions.QUALIFICATIONSProven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor, Mechanical Foreman, or similar supervisory role in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, refinery, or comparable industrial projects.Relevant technical or mechanical qualification preferred.Demonstrated hands-on experience with compressors and rotating equipment is mandatory.Proven experience in precision alignment and leveling of rotating equipment is mandatory.Experience in torquing and bolting activities is mandatory.Previous experience supervising mechanical crews is required.Immediate availability or ability to join on short notice is strongly preferred.Must be willing to undertake a project-based assignment of approximately 1–2 weeks.Must be willing to work Day/Night shifts as required.LOCATIONJubail, Saudi ArabiaProject: SASREF – Additional Mechanical CrewAssignment: Project-based, approximately 1–2 weeksExpected Start: 15 August 2026Shift: Day/Night shift as required
