Key Responsibilities
Own mechanical engineering standards, specifications and technical assurance.Lead mechanical integrity across pressure systems, piping and fixed/rotating equipment.Oversee asset integrity, reliability, RBI, corrosion and safety-critical equipment.Provide technical input into MOC, CAPEX, projects and contractor activities.Support COMAH, PSSR and relevant engineering standards and legislation.Lead technical investigations, root cause analysis and engineering improvements.Act as a senior mechanical SME, providing guidance and mentoring across the site.Experience & Qualifications:Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering.CEng or working towards Chartered status.10+ years’ experience within chemical, petrochemical, energy or another high-hazard/process environment.Strong knowledge of mechanical integrity, pressure systems and fixed/rotating equipment.Experience with COMAH, PSSR and relevant engineering standards.Strong technical leadership and stakeholder management skills.This is a senior technical position offering the opportunity to take ownership of mechanical standards, integrity and engineering assurance across a major manufacturing site.
