Our work focuses on maintaining equipment reliability, supporting preventive maintenance processes, documenting technical activities, and coordinating maintenance requirements efficiently.The RoleWe are looking for a Mechanical Technician to support mechanical maintenance and equipment-related activities. The role involves inspections, troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, technical documentation, and coordination with maintenance teams and external service providers.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine inspections of mechanical equipment, machinery, and related systems.Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities according to established schedules.Identify mechanical faults, abnormal conditions, wear, and equipment performance issues.Assist with troubleshooting, repairs, adjustments, and basic equipment testing.Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, inspection logs, and technical documentation.Follow maintenance schedules and ensure assigned tasks are completed within required timelines.Coordinate with maintenance teams, contractors, suppliers, and other technical personnel when required.Review equipment manuals, technical drawings, specifications, and maintenance procedures.Report equipment issues, recurring faults, safety concerns, and maintenance requirements.Support the ordering or identification of required tools, spare parts, and maintenance materials.Follow applicable safety procedures and technical standards during maintenance activities.Assist with equipment installation, servicing, testing, and commissioning where required.Maintain organized records of equipment history, maintenance activities, and completed work.Support improvements to preventive maintenance procedures and equipment reliability.Requirements3+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance, equipment maintenance, mechanical operations, or a related technical field preferred.Technical diploma, vocational qualification, or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline preferred.Practical knowledge of mechanical equipment, machinery, tools, and maintenance procedures.Ability to read and understand basic technical drawings, equipment manuals, and specifications.Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with preventive and corrective maintenance practices.Comfortable maintaining technical records, maintenance reports, and digital documentation.Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices.Good communication and coordination skills.Ability to manage maintenance tasks, schedules, and priorities effectively.Experience working with contractors, suppliers, or maintenance management systems is an advantage.What We OfferHybrid part-time opportunity in the UAE, subject to role and site requirements.Flexible hours where operational requirements allow.Practical exposure to mechanical maintenance, equipment support, technical operations, and maintenance planning.Opportunity to work across inspections, troubleshooting, documentation, and maintenance coordination.Professional and collaborative working environment.
