Apply & track with Apply EdgeWe’re hiring: Mechatronics Engineer Codebrew is looking for a Mechatronics Engineer who likes building things that move, react, interact and occasionally require a little creative problem-solving to make possible.This isn’t a traditional engineering role. You’ll be working at the intersection of mechanical design, electronics, software, automation and emerging technology, developing and prototyping systems that become part of real-world interactive and experiential projects.What you’ll be working on:Designing and developing electro-mechanical and automated systemsTaking ideas from concept and prototyping through to testing and implementationWorking with microcontrollers, sensors and embedded systemsMechanical design, 3D modelling and circuit designProgramming and debugging automated and sensor-driven systemsIntegrating hardware and software into reliable, working solutionsTroubleshooting, testing and improving systems in the workshop and on live projectsExploring new technologies and figuring out how we can actually use themWhat we’re looking for:Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering or a related field3–5 years of relevant experienceHands-on experience with Arduino, Raspberry Pi and embedded developmentWorking knowledge of C/C++ and/or C# / PythonExperience with SolidWorks and AutoCADUnderstanding of sensors, electronics, circuit design and hardware/software integrationStrong troubleshooting skills and, most importantly, the ability to turn an idea into something that actually worksExperience with robotics, KUKA, Unity/XR, AR, interactive technology or experiential environments would definitely stand out.We’re particularly interested in engineers who are naturally curious, hands-on and comfortable experimenting.
