The team operates from Khansaheb Compound S08-C in Jabal Ali 1, Dubai, serving clients seeking innovative and engaging event concepts.Role Description This Mechatronics Engineer internship role is an on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Interns will support the design, assembly, and integration of mechatronic systems used in immersive installations, robotic activations, and kinetic displays. Daily tasks include assisting with electrical and electronic wiring, testing components, troubleshooting mechanical and control issues, and performing routine maintenance and repair on equipment. The role also involves collaborating with engineers and technicians to prototype new interactive solutions, documenting technical work, and helping prepare systems for live events. This internship is intended for individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced event technology environment.QualificationsStrong foundation in Mechatronics and Electromechanics, with the ability to work on integrated mechanical, electrical, and control systems.Knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles and practical experience or coursework related to circuit design and power distribution.Familiarity with Electronics, including sensors, actuators, microcontrollers, and basic PCB or breadboard work.Design using SolidWorks. Ability to perform Maintenance & Repair on electro-mechanical systems, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and component replacement.Pursuing or holding a degree/diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a closely related field.Basic understanding of control systems, robotics, and automation; experience with CAD or simulation tools is an advantage.Comfort working hands-on in workshop and event environments, with a focus on safety and quality standards.Good communication skills, ability to collaborate in diverse teams, and willingness to learn in a dynamic, project-based setting.
