Location - JeddahDuration - September till February 2027Role OverviewWe are looking for a highly organised and proactive Media Operations Coordinator to support the planning and execution of media operations across football matches, tournaments, sporting events and related activations.The role will coordinate between media teams, broadcasters, photographers, videographers, journalists, clubs, players, venues, production teams and internal event stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of all media-related activities before, during and after events.The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, event-driven environment, managing multiple stakeholders and responding quickly to operational requirements on match days.Key ResponsibilitiesMedia & Event OperationsCoordinate day-to-day media operations for football matches, tournaments and sports events.Support the planning and delivery of media operations from pre-event preparation through to event completion.Coordinate media requirements with event organisers, football clubs, teams, venues and production partners.Maintain event-specific media plans, schedules, contact lists and operational trackers.Coordinate media access, accreditation, passes, parking, transport and venue access requirements.Support the allocation and management of media working areas, press rooms, mixed zones, interview areas and media tribunes.Ensure media facilities and operational requirements are prepared ahead of match/event start time.Provide on-ground operational support during match days and live events.Media Accreditation & AccessManage and maintain media accreditation lists and databases.Coordinate accreditation requirements for journalists, photographers, videographers, broadcasters and other media representatives.Liaise with relevant stakeholders to validate media credentials and access requirements.Support the distribution and collection of accreditation passes.Monitor media access and ensure compliance with event and venue protocols.Press & Content OperationsCoordinate press conferences, interviews, mixed-zone activities and media opportunities.Support scheduling of player, coach, manager and official interviews.Coordinate photographer and videographer positioning and access.Assist media teams with match-day schedules, line-ups, interview timings and other relevant information.Ensure approved media assets and information are distributed to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.Support the collection, organisation and distribution of event photographs, video and other media assets where required.Match-Day OperationsAct as a key point of contact for media representatives during football matches and events.Coordinate with venue operations, security, broadcast, production and event teams to resolve operational issues.Monitor media movements and access throughout the event.Support last-minute media requests and operational changes.Assist with player/coach media movements and interview logistics.Ensure media activities are conducted according to agreed event schedules and protocols.Provide real-time updates to the Media Operations Manager and relevant stakeholders.Stakeholder CoordinationMaintain strong working relationships with:Football clubs and teamsPlayers, coaches and team representativesJournalists and media organisationsBroadcasters and production companiesPhotographers and videographersStadium and venue teamsEvent security and accreditation teamsSponsors and commercial partnersInternal event and operations teamsEnsure clear and timely communication across all stakeholders.Escalate operational issues promptly and support their resolution.Administration & ReportingMaintain media databases, accreditation records, schedules and operational documentation.Prepare media operation checklists and event-day documentation.Track media attendance and accreditation requirements.Prepare post-event reports covering media attendance, operational issues and key observations.Maintain accurate records of media assets and event documentation.Support continuous improvement of media operations and event processes.Required Skills & Experience2–4 years of experience in media operations, sports events, event management, broadcasting, PR or a related field.Experience working within football, sports, live events or entertainment is highly preferred.Strong understanding of match-day/event-day operations.Experience coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders.Strong organisational and time-management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage operational deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.Comfortable using digital collaboration, scheduling and event-management platforms.Professional communication skills and a strong customer-service mindset.
