But who believes it makes all the difference.This is a role for someone who understands media.Business.Institutions.Reputation.And the increasingly complex relationship between all four.THE MISSIONReporting to the Communication & Corporate Affairs Director, you will contribute to defining and executing the company’s external communication and media relations strategy.Your objective will be to strengthen corporate reputation, build high-quality relationships with key media stakeholders and ensure the organisation has a clear, credible and distinctive voice.You will work closely with senior leadership and multiple business functions, translating complex corporate topics into stories people actually want to understand.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESMEDIA RELATIONSDevelop and execute the national media relations strategyBuild and maintain relationships with journalists, editors and opinion leadersManage proactive and reactive media opportunitiesIdentify relevant corporate and business storiesCoordinate interviews, briefings and press meetingsDevelop press releases, statements and media materialsManage relationships with PR and communication agenciesMonitor media coverage and emerging reputational topicsCORPORATE COMMUNICATIONDevelop corporate narratives and key messagesSupport communication around strategic projects and company milestonesCoordinate executive communication initiativesDevelop thought-leadership opportunities for senior executivesSupport speeches, interviews, presentations and institutional contentEnsure consistency of corporate positioning across channelsEXECUTIVE POSITIONINGGreat companies need credible voices.You will work closely with senior leadership to:Strengthen executive positioningIdentify relevant speaking opportunitiesDevelop editorial and thought-leadership platformsPrepare senior leaders for media interactionsSupport participation in conferences, panels and institutional eventsREPUTATION & ISSUES MANAGEMENTMonitor reputational risks and emerging issuesSupport crisis communication strategiesCoordinate internal stakeholders during sensitive situationsDevelop communication scenarios and response plansEnsure speed, accuracy and consistency during high-pressure situationsCONTENT & STORYTELLINGCorporate does not have to mean boring.You will help transform:data into stories, strategy into messages, complexity into clarity.You will collaborate with Digital, Social, Marketing, HR and Corporate Affairs teams to develop communication capable of reaching different audiences while maintaining a distinctive corporate identity.WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORYou ideally bring:6+ years of experience in Corporate Communication, Media Relations, PR or Corporate AffairsExperience within complex companies, international organisations, communication agencies or institutional environmentsEstablished understanding of the Italian media landscapeExcellent writing and editorial capabilitiesExperience working with senior executivesStrong stakeholder managementAbility to manage confidential and sensitive informationExcellent Italian and EnglishStrong understanding of digital and social communicationPrevious experience in crisis communication or executive positioning will be highly valued.THE PACKAGE€50,000 – €65,000 Gross Annual SalaryPerformance BonusCorporate BenefitsInternational ExposureProfessional DevelopmentFinal compensation will reflect experience and seniority.WHY ROME?Because some conversations happen where companies are headquartered.Others happen where business, media, institutions and society meet.Rome is one of those places.Apply through Ali Professional.🪽 Ali Professional | Experience ConsultingCareers are not only about what you do.
