With a dynamic team of approximately 100 creatives, we pride ourselves on delivering impactful, non-traditional marketing solutions that shape culture.JOB DESCRIPTIONWe’re looking for a culturally fluent and highly motivated Media Relations Specialist/Publicist to join our Public Relations team. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and brings a sharp understanding of both traditional and emerging media landscapes. You’ll work across our full roster of clients in lifestyle, entertainment, fashion, spirits, and more to help shape the narrative and amplify the stories that matter.RESPONSIBILITIES Provide day-to-day support for Team Epiphany’s Associate PR Director and other team membersDevelop and maintain targeted media lists across categories and platformsMonitor media coverage and create detailed campaign recaps and reportsIdentify trends and news cycles to pitch relevant, creative storiesDraft compelling press materials, including releases, media alerts, and pitchesBuild and nurture relationships with media contacts across lifestyle, entertainment, pop culture, business, and spiritsCollaborate closely with social media, strategy, and experiential teams to align campaign messagingHelp secure impactful media placements across top-tier outletsStay ahead of cultural trends to bring fresh, relevant POVs to internal and external brainstormsIdentify and manage submissions for agency and campaign awards, including developing compelling entries that showcase the work and its impact.Proactively pitch agency news, leadership and campaign work to advertising trade publications and business media.Maintain a strong understanding of emerging media platforms, evolving editorial trends and nontraditional opportunities for generating earned media and cultural relevance.WHAT MAKES A GREAT CANDIDATE MUST BE ABLE TO WORK A HYBRID SCHEDULE 3 days/week in-office 10 AM – 7 PM EST3+ years of experience in public relations or media strategyStrong media relationships, especially in lifestyle, entertainment, culture, and spiritsExperience in multicultural marketing and an understanding of culturally relevant mediaExceptional writing, storytelling, and communication skillsComfortable working directly with clients and senior executivesCollaborative spirit and a proactive, solution-oriented mindsetDeep knowledge of the current media and influencer landscapeFamiliar with Cision, MuckRack, and PRNewswire servicesStrong working knowledge of Keynote, PowerPoint, and ExcelBENEFITS & SALARY Paid Time OffComprehensive Insurance CoverageRetirement BenefitsWellness and Technology BenefitsBonus Potential$50,000 – $70,000 annually (based upon experience, skill set, and internal alignment)
