Location: Burgess Hill, West Sussex (Hybrid - Flexible working arrangements)Position Type: 12-Month Contract (Outside IR35)Industry: Global Healthcare / Medical DiagnosticsAbout the RoleAre you an experienced Medical Affairs leader looking to drive innovation at the intersection of oncology, cardiology, and digital health?We are seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Global Medical Affairs Lead to take ownership of medical strategy for cutting-edge clinical decision support algorithms.

Working across emergency departments, wards, and broader clinical settings, you will play a pivotal role in empowering healthcare professionals to make critical clinical decisions.This is a high-visibility, 12-month contract (Outside IR35) offering flexible hybrid working from Burgess Hill.Key ResponsibilitiesEarly Cancer Detection: Provide strategic medical expertise in disease management and screening across lung, gastric, and colorectal cancers to support product launches and clinical registrations.Cardiology Algorithms: Lead medical oversight for clinical decision support tools in acute care settings (ED & Ward), covering conditions such as Atrial Fibrillation, Heart Failure, and Acute Coronary Syndrome / Myocardial Infarction.Strategic Medical Planning: Drive evidence generation, KOL mapping and engagement, scientific communications, and medical education to support launch readiness and market adoption.Scientific Communication & Content: Oversee the development of clinical messaging, educational resources, peer-reviewed publications, and congress presentations.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with global cross-functional teams and medical affiliates to address medical enquiries and review promotional/marketing materials in line with compliance standards.Key RequirementsQualification: MD and/or PhD with proven expertise in oncology or related clinical disciplines.Experience: Strong background in Medical Affairs or Clinical Development within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or diagnostics sectors.Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of cancer diagnostics, clinical practice guidelines, healthcare systems, and industry regulations.Skills: Outstanding communication skills with a proven track record of synthesizing complex clinical data into actionable insights for diverse global stakeholders.Working Style: Self-directed, proactive, and accustomed to driving complex projects in fast-paced environments.Why Apply?Cutting-Edge Innovation: Lead medical strategy for next-generation AI and algorithmic clinical support tools.Flexibility: Great hybrid working pattern tailored to your routine.Contract Status: Confirmed Outside IR35 engagement over a 12-month term.
