This client-centered approach supports meaningful, sustainable healing in a supportive clinical environment.Role Description The Medical Assistant at The Delray Center plays a key role in supporting clinicians and clients in a multidisciplinary behavioral health and medical practice. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing clients for exams, recording vital signs, assisting with procedures, updating and maintaining medical records, and ensuring exam rooms and equipment are clean, stocked, and organized. The Medical Assistant also helps coordinate patient flow, schedules appointments, manages front-office tasks as needed, and communicates clearly with clients, clinicians, and other team members. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Delray Beach, FL, requiring reliable attendance and professionalism in a clinical setting.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Medical Assisting skills, including rooming patients, taking vital signs, and assisting with clinical procedures.Candidates should possess knowledge of Medical Terminology to communicate accurately with clinicians and document clinical information correctly.Candidates should possess experience in a Medical Office environment, including appointment scheduling, phone etiquette, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.Candidates should possess Patient Care skills, emphasizing empathy, professionalism, and respect for client confidentiality and diverse backgrounds.Candidates should possess proficiency in handling Medical Records, including electronic health records (EHR), accurate data entry, and adherence to HIPAA and privacy regulations.Additional beneficial qualifications include completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, national certification (e.g., CMA or RMA), current CPR/BLS certification, and prior experience in behavioral health or integrative medicine settings.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and clear verbal and written communication are highly valued.
