Team members join a forward-looking practice that values accessibility, continuity of care, and collaborative medicine.Role Description The Medical Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Scottsdale, AZ. This team member supports providers by preparing exam rooms, recording vital signs, updating patient histories, and assisting with routine clinical procedures. Daily responsibilities include coordinating patient flow, managing scheduling and check-in, maintaining accurate medical records, and handling basic administrative tasks in the medical office. The Medical Assistant also helps with patient education, ensures adherence to safety and infection-control protocols, and collaborates closely with clinicians and staff to deliver efficient, patient-centered care.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Medical Assisting and Patient Care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and supporting routine clinical procedures.Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Medical Terminology to accurately communicate and document information in a clinical environment.Candidates should possess experience in Medical Office operations, such as scheduling, check-in/check-out, and coordinating patient flow.Candidates should possess skills in managing Medical Records, including accurate documentation, EHR usage, and maintaining confidentiality.Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program and current certification (e.g., CMA, RMA) preferred.Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer-service skills, with a commitment to inclusive, respectful patient interactions.Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting, follow established protocols, and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.Basic proficiency with computers and telehealth platforms; prior experience in family medicine or specialty care is a plus.
