In addition, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience.Position Details:Location: This is a float role, candidate must be able to commute to clinics based in Manhattan (Will review clinics during the interview) Schedule: Full-time, hours vary between 7am-7pm; must be able to work weekendsThis position requires to be National Registered / Certified Medical AssistantSpanish and English speaking requiredCompensation: $20-$24/hrKey Responsibilities:Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experienceObtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR)Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certificationAccurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systemsDeliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environmentUtilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systemsSupport patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environmentsLeverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicableRequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalent, required1-2 years of hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar direct patient care role (e.g., Medical Assistant externship, CNA, HHA, Nursing Assistant, or Patient Care Technician), requiredExperience performing clinical duties such as vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection, requiredCompletion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferredProven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment, requiredBenefitsHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Retirement Plan (401k)Paid Time Off (Vacation/Sick Days)Paid Training
