The Medical Assistant supports daily clinical operations by preparing patients for visits, taking vital signs, and assisting with procedures related to hormone therapy, medical weight loss, and injectable treatments. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate medical records, updating patient charts, and ensuring exam rooms are stocked and clean. The Medical Assistant also helps manage patient flow, schedules appointments, and provides clear instructions and education to patients under the guidance of licensed clinicians. Collaboration with providers and staff to maintain a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment is a core part of the role.QualificationsDemonstrated Medical Assisting skills, including support with exams, procedures, and routine clinical tasks.Solid understanding of Medical Terminology to accurately communicate and document clinical information.Experience in a Medical Office setting, including scheduling, front-desk support, and coordination of patient visits.Proven Patient Care abilities, with a focus on professionalism, empathy, and respectful communication.Ability to manage and maintain Medical Records in compliance with privacy and regulatory standards.Relevant certification or diploma as a Medical Assistant; current MA or similar credential preferred but not required .Basic proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard office software.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.Current CPR/BLS certification and adherence to infection control and safety protocols. ( Preferred but not required)
