Medical Assistant

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Insight Global is seeking a Medical Assistant to support a multi-specialty practice in McLean, VA. This individual will support both clinical and administrative functions while assisting providers across multiple specialty practices. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and be comfortable supporting a high-volume patient population.Must Haves:Current CPR and BLS certifications through the American Heart AssociationBachelor's or Master's Degree in a science-related field OR relevant Medical Assistant experienceComfortable working with a predominantly male patient populationAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced specialty clinicStrong interpersonal and communication skillsPlusses:Urology experienceVascular or Vein Clinic experienceExperience supporting multiple medical specialtiesCMAResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Rooming patients and obtaining vitalsSupporting providers across multiple specialtiesAssisting with clinical and administrative dutiesManaging approximately 35-45 patient visits per dayCross-training with Cardiology as needed for front desk dutiesAssisting with Urology, Podiatry, Pulmonary, Endocrinology, General Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, and Vascular patientsSupporting both the McLean and Reston locations when requiredMaintaining patient flow and ensuring efficient clinic operationsProviding excellent patient care and customer service
