قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجMedical Assistant – Pain ManagementLocation: Santa Monica, CAJob Type: Full-Time | Onsite | Temp/Temp to HireSchedule: Monday–Friday | 8AM-5PMPay: $20-25/hourAbout the RoleWe are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our pain management team. This role is ideal for an MA who enjoys working closely with patients and providers in a specialty-care setting. The Medical Assistant will support daily clinical operations, prepare patients for appointments and procedures, maintain accurate medical records, and help ensure patients receive a welcoming and efficient experience.ResponsibilitiesRoom and prepare patients for pain management consultations, follow-up visits, and procedures.Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, medication lists, allergies, and other relevant clinical information.Assist providers with examinations and in-office procedures as directed.Prepare and maintain examination rooms, supplies, and equipment.Perform medication reconciliation and communicate patient concerns or changes in condition to the clinical team.Assist with injections, wound care, and other clinical procedures within scope of practice and training.Collect and process specimens as needed.Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).Coordinate with providers, front-office staff, pharmacies, and other members of the care team.Provide patient education and reinforce provider instructions regarding medications, procedures, and follow-up care.Monitor and maintain adequate clinical supplies and assist with inventory management.Follow infection control, HIPAA, and safety standards.Support the overall flow and efficiency of the pain management clinic.QualificationsCompletion of an accredited Medical Assistant program1+ year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in pain management, orthopedics, primary care, neurology, or another specialty setting.Current BLS/CPR certification required.Comfortable working with patients who may experience chronic pain or mobility limitations.Experience with DrChrono, preferred.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinical environment.Why Join Us?Monday–Friday schedule with no weekendsOpportunity to develop specialty experience in pain managementCollaborative and supportive clinical teamDirect patient interaction and hands-on clinical responsibilities
