We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming environment for our patients while delivering efficient and professional service.About the Role:Complete Primary Care is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join its team based in Danvers, Massachusetts. Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting with clinical and administrative duties, maintaining accurate patient records, and promoting efficient, professional, and compassionate patient experience.Key Responsibilities:Room patients and obtain/document vital signs, medical history, and medicationsPrepare patients for examinations and assist providers during office visitsPerform clinical duties within the Medical Assistant scope of practice as directed by the providerAssist with medication administration and other clinical procedures as appropriatePrepare, clean, stock, and maintain examination rooms and clinical suppliesDocument patient information accurately in Athena Electronic Medical Record (EMR)Coordinate laboratory testing, referrals, prior authorizations, and follow-up careRespond to patient phone calls and portal messages within scope of practiceAssist with prescription refill requests and patient follow-up communicationsEducate patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care as directed by the providerMaintain HIPAA compliance and infection control standards at all timesSupport providers and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and outstanding patient experiencesPerforms other duties or special projects as required or assignedQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredAt least 2 years of medical practice experience. Preference for primary care/ family medicineCurrent Medical Assistant credential strongly preferred (CMA, RMA, or CCMA)Current CPR/BLS certification preferredExperience with Athena EMR or other electronic medical record systems preferredStrong knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and infection control practicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentAbility to maintain patient confidentiality and professionalismCompensation & Benefits:Hourly Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour, based on experience and qualificationsCompetitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and retirement benefitsPaid time off and paid holidaysOpportunities for professional development and continuing educationSupportive, collaborative, and patient focused work environmentComplete Primary Care is an equal opportunity employer.
