Enchantress Dermatology & Research values professionalism, empathy, and long-term skin health, offering patients a trusted environment for happier, healthier skin.Role Description The Medical Assistant at Enchantress Dermatology & Research supports dermatology providers in delivering efficient, high-quality patient care. This full-time, on-site role in Miami, FL includes preparing exam rooms, rooming patients, recording vital signs, and documenting medical histories in the electronic medical record. The Medical Assistant will assist with dermatologic procedures, collect and process lab specimens as needed, and provide clear pre- and post-care instructions to patients. Daily responsibilities also include managing patient flow, coordinating appointments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting front office tasks such as checking patients in and out. The role requires close collaboration with clinical and administrative staff to ensure a smooth, respectful, and safe patient experience.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Medical Assisting skills, including supporting clinical procedures and basic clinical tasks in a dermatology or similar outpatient setting.Candidates should possess knowledge of Medical Terminology to accurately understand and document dermatologic conditions, treatments, and provider instructions.Candidates should possess experience in a Medical Office environment, including scheduling, patient check-in/out, and coordination with clinical staff.Candidates should possess Patient Care skills, demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and the ability to communicate clearly with diverse patient populations.Candidates should possess Medical Records skills, including maintaining accurate documentation, familiarity with electronic health records (EHR), and attention to privacy and compliance.Relevant qualifications include completion of a Medical Assistant training program; certification (CMA, RMA, or similar) is preferred.Additional beneficial skills include experience in dermatology, bilingual communication (especially English/Spanish), strong organizational abilities, and adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
