Responsibilities include preparing exam and treatment rooms, assisting with patient intake, obtaining vital signs, documenting medical histories, and ensuring accurate and timely entry of information into medical records. The role involves supporting providers during exams and minor procedures, maintaining sterile technique and equipment readiness, and reinforcing pre- and post-operative instructions to help patients feel informed and comfortable. The Medical Assistant will also manage basic front- and back-office tasks such as scheduling support, coordinating patient flow, handling phone inquiries related to clinical care, and collaborating closely with the clinical and administrative team to ensure a smooth, respectful patient experience.Qualifications Clinical support skills in Medical Assisting, including patient intake, vitals, and procedure preparation.Knowledge of Medical Terminology relevant to cosmetic and plastic surgery settings.Experience in a Medical Office environment, including coordination of patient flow and basic administrative support.Ability to provide compassionate, professional Patient Care, with a focus on safety, comfort, and clear communication.Competence in handling Medical Records, including accurate documentation and adherence to privacy regulations.Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program; certification or registration as a Medical Assistant preferred.Previous experience in cosmetic surgery, dermatology, or related outpatient specialty is beneficial.Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.Basic proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and common office software.
