Medical Assistant (Float - Front & Back Office)Location: [Insert Location] (Travel required to Hanford at least once per week)Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMPay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour (DOE)Job SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and flexible Medical Assistant (Float) to support both front office and back office operations across our medical clinics. This role is ideal for someone who is adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a variety of clinical settings while providing excellent patient care and administrative support.Key ResponsibilitiesFront Office DutiesGreet patients and provide a welcoming, professional experienceAnswer phones, schedule appointments, and manage calendarsVerify patient demographics and insurance informationProcess check-ins/check-outs and collect copaysMaintain accurate patient records and documentationBack Office DutiesRoom patients and record vital signsAssist providers with exams and proceduresPrepare exam rooms and ensure proper sanitationAdminister injections and perform basic clinical tasks (within scope)Document patient information in electronic medical records (EMR)Float ResponsibilitiesTravel to support different clinic locations, including Hanford at least once per weekAdapt quickly to different teams, workflows, and provider preferencesProvide coverage for staff absences and high-volume daysQualifications1+ year of medical assisting experience (preferred)Certification as a Medical Assistant (preferred but not required)Experience with both front and back office dutiesKnowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical proceduresStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentReliable transportation and willingness to travel to Hanford All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
