Joining the team offers the opportunity to contribute to patient-centered care in a stable, well-established practice.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Medical Assistant role located in Queens, NY, with a primary focus on serving Spanish-speaking patients. The Medical Assistant will perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, assisting providers with procedures, and updating electronic medical records. Daily responsibilities include supporting patient flow, maintaining exam room cleanliness and supplies, and coordinating with front office staff to ensure timely appointments. The role also involves communicating clearly with patients about instructions, follow-up care, and basic health information in both English and Spanish. The Medical Assistant will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other team members to promote efficient, respectful, and culturally responsive care.QualificationsDemonstrated skills in Medical Assisting, including vital signs, rooming patients, and assisting with examinations and procedures.Proficiency in Medical Terminology and familiarity with primary care and family medicine services.Experience in a Medical Office environment, including coordinating patient flow and supporting clinical and administrative processes.Strong Patient Care skills, with a focus on empathy, clear communication, and serving diverse and Spanish-speaking populations.Ability to manage and update Medical Records accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems.Fluency in Spanish and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.Certification or diploma as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred.Basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification and knowledge of infection control and safety protocols.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical setting, with strong organizational and time-management skills. salary $22.00 to 2500
