Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Billing Specialist based in Lahore. The Medical Billing Specialist will be responsible for managing the entire billing process, which includes claims submission, processing payments, handling denials, and ensuring compliance with insurance guidelines. Daily tasks involve verifying and updating patient information, reviewing claims for accuracy, and addressing discrepancies. Collaboration with insurance companies, understanding billing policies, and using coding systems such as ICD-10 are integral to this position. Qualifications Proficiency in Medical Terminology and understanding of medical procedures related to billingExperience in Claims Management, including Denials handling and resolutionKnowledge of ICD-10 coding systems and related documentationComprehensive understanding of Insurance and Medicare requirements and processesDetail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skillsStrong communication skills to interact with patients, insurance providers, and internal teamsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environmentFamiliarity with health information systems and billing software is a plusMinimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; certification in medical billing is preferred
