قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجRegional Medical DirectorLocation: Costa Mesa, CASchedule: Full-TimeOverviewWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Medical Director to provide clinical leadership, oversee quality of care, and support the growth and performance of healthcare services across the region. This role is ideal for a physician with strong leadership experience and a passion for improving patient outcomes in a collaborative, value-based care environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide clinical oversight and direct patient care as needed.Collaborate with specialists, hospitalists, ER physicians, facility staff, case managers, social workers, patients, and families to ensure continuity of care.Conduct regular telephonic rounds with assigned Nurse Practitioners and provide clinical guidance.Ensure timely and accurate completion of clinical documentation, including H&Ps, SOAP notes, Annual Wellness Exams, advance directives, and quality measures.Participate in backup on-call coverage as needed.Review regional performance metrics and develop improvement plans in collaboration with clinical leadership.Lead initiatives related to patient and customer satisfaction, quality improvement, staff development, and clinical performance.Support physician and advanced practice provider training, performance evaluations, chart reviews, documentation, and coding compliance.Oversee productivity, staffing, utilization, medical necessity, and coverage planning.Support regional growth initiatives, strategic partnerships, and development of new business opportunities.QualificationsMedical degree from an accredited medical school.Minimum of 5 years of physician experience with direct patient care.Current and unrestricted California physician license.Board certification or specialty certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Hospice & Palliative Care, or a related specialty preferred.Preferred ExperienceMedical leadership experience.Long-Term Care (LTC) and/or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience.Managed care experience, including Medicare Advantage, ACOs, full-risk IPA, or value-based care models.Palliative care and/or hospice experience.Experience managing, mentoring, and supporting NPs and PAs.
