Medical Director

Role Description The Medical Director role is a part-time, hybrid position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for some work from home. The Medical Director will provide clinical leadership and oversight for medical activities related to employee health, occupational safety, and any healthcare initiatives involving company personnel and partners. Responsibilities include developing medical policies and guidelines, reviewing complex cases, and advising on best practices in relevant specialties. The role involves collaborating with physicians, technical teams, and management to ensure safe working environments, appropriate medical risk assessments, and alignment with local regulations and international standards. The Medical Director will also contribute to strategic planning, continuous improvement of medical protocols, and education of staff on health and safety issues.QualificationsStrong foundation in Medicine, with the ability to oversee and coordinate clinical decision-making across diverse medical needs.Relevant experience or specialization in Cardiology, with skills to evaluate and advise on cardiovascular health risks and management.Relevant experience or specialization in Neurology, with the capability to assess and guide care related to neurological conditions.Knowledge and experience in Oncology, including understanding of cancer risk factors, screening, and treatment coordination.Demonstrated experience working with physicians and multidisciplinary clinical teams in leadership or advisory roles.Valid medical degree and board certification, with eligibility to practice or provide medical oversight in the United Arab Emirates.Experience in occupational health, corporate or industrial medicine, or similar environments is highly beneficial.Strong communication, ethical decision-making, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural setting.
