Medical Director

Role Description The Medical Director role is a part-time, hybrid position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for some work from home. The Medical Director will provide clinical leadership, oversee medical standards, and ensure high-quality patient care across services. Responsibilities include reviewing and developing clinical protocols, supervising complex cases, and offering guidance to multidisciplinary teams. The role involves collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals, participating in case reviews and quality improvement initiatives, and supporting compliance with regulatory and ethical standards. The Medical Director will also contribute to strategic planning, medical education activities, and evidence-based practice development.Qualifications Strong foundation in Medicine with board certification or equivalent qualification.Clinical expertise in one or more specialties such as Cardiology, Neurology, or Oncology.Proven experience working with physicians and multidisciplinary clinical teams.Current professional license (or eligibility for licensure) to practice in the United Arab Emirates.Demonstrated leadership skills, including decision-making, mentoring, and conflict resolution.Experience with clinical governance, quality improvement, and adherence to healthcare regulations.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a diverse, multicultural environment.Advanced medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) and prior experience in a Medical Director or similar leadership role preferred.
