Working across a varied portfolio of solid tumour and haematology programmes, you’ll partner with biotech and pharma sponsors to shape development strategy, solve complex clinical challenges and support the delivery of innovative cancer therapies.This is a highly strategic, externally facing role combining scientific leadership, clinical development expertise and commercial influence.The OpportunityAs the Oncology Medical Strategy Lead, you’ll act as a trusted scientific advisor to sponsors developing oncology therapies. You’ll work alongside clinical, regulatory, operational and commercial teams to develop effective clinical strategies, support business growth and provide expert guidance across multiple client programmes.Rather than overseeing a single asset, you’ll have the opportunity to influence a broad range of oncology development programmes across different indications, modalities and stages of development.What You’ll Be DoingPartner with biotech and pharma sponsors to shape oncology clinical development strategiesAdvise on protocol design, feasibility, standards of care and clinical development planningProvide insight into mechanisms and compound‑specific considerationsSupport scientific discussions during early client engagement, proposal development and bid-defence meetingsWork alongside commercial and operational teams to win and deliver complex oncology programmesAct as a scientific advisor throughout the research and clinical development lifecycleContribute to presentations, thought leadership and industry engagementMonitor the evolving oncology landscape and help shape future strategyWe’re Interested in Speaking to Physicians Who HaveAn MD and board certification in OncologyStrong experience across solid tumours; additional haematology expertise would be advantageousAt least five to seven years of relevant experienceA minimum of three years’ experience within or supporting the biopharmaceutical industryExperience in clinical development, clinical research or translational medicineA strong understanding of protocol design, development planning and clinical trial executionThe ability to communicate confidently with sponsors, KOLs and senior internal stakeholdersStrong business acumen and an interest in working across scientific, operational and commercial environmentsWhy This Role?This is an opportunity to step away from managing a single asset and instead influence multiple oncology programmes across the industry.
